The Wait Is Nearly Over
In March, this year, I ordered a 14" StarBook MK. V laptop from Star Labs. Delivery has been delayed numerous times, mostly as a consequence of China imposing COVID-19 lockdown. But, at long last, it looks like my new laptop—upgraded to the StarBook MK. VI—lands in the UK in the upcoming weeks.

I'm excited about this laptop. There are few reviews, and none on the MK. VI, so I've taken a leap of faith with this custom-built Linux laptop from the UK-based company, Star Labs. But I have confidence in this bunch of geeks! They are passionate about what they do, pay attention to detail, and listen to feedback.
This is what I've ordered:
- Intel® Core® 12th generation i7 processor
- 16 GB 3200 MHz memory
- 960 GB over-provisioned SSD
- 1920×1080 Full-HD Resolution full matte display
- coreboot open-source firmware
- StarPort 12-port USB-C PD Hub
When the laptop lands, I'll prepare a review with some photos, and maybe a video, so stayed tuned, and sign-up if you want to be the first to learn about the new Star Labs StarBook MK. VI.
